  • Swedish Body Massage

This massage is tailored to your personal preference as it can vary from gentle to somewhat intense. Warm essential oil is applied onto body with gliding gentle strokes, a movement of slow vibration and kneading encourages tight and sore muscles to release lactic acid. This helps release tension and improves blood circulation all over, leading to a sense of relaxation.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

If you are looking to ease everyday stress and relieve tense muscles, this massage promotes relaxation by working the soft tissues by delivering oxygen and blood to the areas treated. This can also be used to assist the rehabilitation of muscular related injuries. To ensure this is most suited for you the therapist will carry out a questionnaire regarding health and lifestyle. The treatment usually takes place on a massage bed, although in some cases you may be required to lie down on a futon-type mat on the floor or sit in a chair. A nourishing essential oil or an organic moisturiser will then be applied directly to skin to provide a free flowing massage.

  • Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage

If you suffer from insomnia or spend most days sitting at your office, why not try our head, neck and shoulder massage? Daily use of mobiles and carrying heavy bags on one shoulder are common triggers of neck and shoulder tension. The therapist will ask what pressure you desire, and then set to task loosening any knots, generally located between top of the shoulder and shoulder blades. Gently moving upwards, relaxed neck muscles help deliver more oxygen to the brain creating better blood flow, this will not only help minimise headaches and that irritating eye strain from staring at the computer, but will also promote better memory and concentration. Furthermore, regular head stimulation is known to lower blood pressure. This uplifting therapy is vital for repairing and re-energising your energy. So pause your workload and put yourself first for a change.
